Sarah Prashad Joins GRT for Exclusive Player Development Sessions
by Tim Prashad
Game Ready Training is proud to announce the addition of Sarah Prashad, a former collegiate softball player and Registered Psychotherapist (RP), who will be offering one-on-one and small-group training sessions for athletes looking to elevate both their physical and mental performance.
Sarah brings a unique combination of high-level playing experience and expertise in sport psychology, offering athletes a complete approach to development that strengthens both fundamentals and mindset. A proud alumna of the University of Michigan–Dearborn, Sarah competed as a utility player, known for her versatility in both the infield and outfield. As a left-handed slap hitter, she contributed speed, adaptability, and strategic precision to every lineup.
Originally from Mississauga, Ontario, Sarah understands the path Canadian athletes take when pursuing collegiate opportunities in the United States—a journey that shaped her passion for developing young talent.
In addition to her athletic achievements, Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in mental health and sport performance psychology. She works closely with athletes to build resilience, confidence, focus, and emotional control—skills that directly translate to improved on-field results. Her philosophy centers on nurturing the whole athlete—building strong technical foundations while fostering self-awareness, leadership, and a growth-oriented mindset.
“Elite performance comes from developing both the body and mind,” said Sarah. “When athletes are confident, focused, and mentally prepared, they not only perform better—they enjoy the game more.”
Those interested in training with Sarah can email info@gamereadytraining.ca to sign up, providing their name, age, position, and preferred focus area.
For athletes aiming to take their game to the next level—on and off the diamond—this is an opportunity to learn from one of the most well-rounded minds in softball and sport performance.
